A very funny weekend ………
Firstly, the bionic boy is now pulling himself up on anything and everything and crawls at an amazing rate ….

On Friday, Grace and Patrick received a parcel from my Mum which contained a halloween outfit for Patrick and a T-shirt for Grace. They were both delighted as you can see ….
Then on Saturday I went to a sale with Jen and picked up a halloween outfit for Grace. (She had been intending to wear her ladybug from last year but I really couldn’t resist this one.) I met them all in Oakville and showed Grace what I had bought for her ………….. that was it, we have now spent the rest of the weekend with …………..
….. a pink unicorn. We have all really laughed – firstly, she insisted on wearing it right away and then walked most of the way back to the car on all fours “like a unicorn Daddy”. then when we got home she passed out on the couch exhausted. We managed to get it off her for a couple of hours over dinner time but had quite a lengthy negotiation as to why she couldn’t wear it to bed. Then when I got up the next day she was having breakfast in it!
To put this into context, its quite a big costume, is made completely of polyester and its been 25 degrees here all weekend! Still, she loves it and I think that Halloween will be alot of fun this year.

Hi Patrick, you really are a clever boy, do you always make so much noise when you are crawling.
Hi Gracie and Patrick, it looks like Halloween will be a lot of fun this year, are you sure you haven’t turned mummy’s house into a zoo with all these animals? Does the unicorn live in a stable or do you have another bed for him?
love and hugs Omi and grandad xxxxxxxxxx

Hi all
Happy New Year to you all. Just been catching up on your blog tis an age since we’ve looked. Can’t believe how much Grace & Patrick have grown. Looks like you had a great and very very excitable Christmas. Was fun seeing your Boxing Day Toronto Zoo pics over a year since we went with you guys. All ok in Aberdeenshire, some snow but a pathetic attempt compared to you Canadians. Don’t think I will be cross-country sking this year anyway as not sure it was listed as one of those activities you can do at 30+ weeks pregnant! But heh when do I listen as to what you can and can’t do. Managed to scare Nik last week by saying this was the stage when you had Grace – his words of wisdom were “hold on….”
Hopefully catch up on webcam soon
